Block activated carbon cartridge, 20"x2.5", slim

Block carbon filter cartridge with a size of 20". It effectively removes chlorine, organic substances, pesticides and improves the taste and aroma of water.

The cartridge can only be used for cold water, up to 45 degrees Celsius.

This activated carbon block filter cartridge is highly effective at retaining chlorine and its compounds (chloramine and trihalomethanes), as well as volatile organic compounds. It also improves the taste, odor and color of the water.

The block activated carbon cartridge:

- is used for pre-filtration in water purification systems (microfiltration / ultrafiltration);

- retains chlorine and its compounds;

- improves the taste and odor of water.

- has maximum efficiency when used below 1000 liters of water per week.

The block activated carbon cartridge does not retain sediments and fine particles from the water. They must always be preceded by a polypropylene sediment filter, which extends the service life and operational lifespan of the carbon cartridge, which would otherwise become clogged with large impurities, significantly reducing its filtration surface area.

We recommend replacing carbon cartridges every 6 months for tap water and approximately every 9 months for well water.
