Maintenance

For proper operation, always keep the salt level in the brine tank above the water level. We recommend keeping the tank filled approximately two-thirds with salt. The frequency at which you need to add salt depends on water hardness and daily consumption, but for most homes a check every 2 to 4 weeks is sufficient.

Important: Never let the salt run out completely, as this can stop the regeneration process and reduce water softening efficiency.
