Downflow piston, code V3011, for Clack WS1 valves

The Downflow ASY V3011 piston is an original Clack part, designed for Clack WS1 valves and other brands using this type of valve under a private label. This piston is essential for the correct operation of water softening and filtration systems, being used in downflow softener, regenerating filter (e.g. Greensand) and non-regenerating filter (e.g. Carbon, Calcite, BIRM) configurations.

Beware of imitations!
The V3005, V3011 and V3174 pistons have been copied by a Chinese manufacturer and are sold on various online platforms. These parts DO NOT work correctly with Clack valves, according to official tests conducted by Clack. A distinctive sign of counterfeits is that the V3011 piston is translucent, whereas the original Clack part is not.

Important warning: Do not lubricate this assembly!
The piston includes silicone O-rings, and the tolerances are already very precise. Using lubricants can lead to:

• Piston seizure
• O-ring damage
• The need to replace the entire Spacer Stack assembly, as the O-rings are not available separately
