Hot water housing, FILTRO HOT 10, red, 85 degrees, 1/2" connection

10" (25 cm) filtration housing for hot water, compatible with a 10"x2.5" filter cartridge. The FILTRO HOT 10" package includes a transparent housing, a black cap, a wall mounting bracket and a tightening wrench.

The filter housing is made from high-quality materials, resistant to hot water up to 80 degrees Celsius, and also features an air relief or depressurization valve. It has an excellent finish. The filtration cartridge is made from expanded polypropylene and is resistant to chemicals and bacterial colonies. It should be replaced every 3–6 months, depending on the inlet water quality or the volume of water consumed.

The filtration housing connects to the hot or cold water pipe. Installation is straightforward, requiring no electrical connection or drain hookup. The housing connection thread is 1/2".

Cartridges compatible with the FILTRO HOT 10" housing:

For this housing we recommend the hot water cartridge that removes sediment and impurities. This hot water housing is also compatible with any standard 10" filter cartridge. You can choose either an activated carbon cartridge (for chlorine filtration), a softening cartridge, or another sediment filtration cartridge.

Replacing the filter cartridge:

After the cartridge's filtration period (3–6 months), replacement is straightforward. Turn off the water supply and release the pressure from the housing by opening a tap. Using the wrench included in the package, unscrew the housing and remove the old (used) cartridge. Then rinse the inside of the housing thoroughly with water and insert the new filter cartridge. The final step is to screw the housing back on securely using the wrench from the package.
