Inline TDS with electronic display and 1/4" connection

This TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) device measures the concentration of dissolved solid substances in water.

The measured substances are minerals, salts and heavy metal ions dissolved in water. This device is used to measure the performance of a reverse osmosis system. It is installed at the inlet and outlet of the water filtration system. The displayed values indicate the efficiency of the filtration system.

This inline TDS measuring device is installed on a 1/4″ (6 mm) tube in your filtration system. Thus, depending on the tube on which it is installed, the device measures and displays the current TDS value.
1. If mounted on the supply tube, you will see the TDS value of the raw, unfiltered water.
2. If mounted on the tube coming out of the reverse osmosis membrane, you will measure the TDS of the water directly from the membrane. Compared to the inlet value, you will be able to calculate the efficiency of the membrane.
3. If mounted on the tube leading to the filtered water faucet, you will see the TDS of the mineralized water. This is higher than that of the water directly from the membrane.

Attention! The relevant TDS value for reverse osmosis membranes is measured after water has continuously passed through the membrane for at least 5 minutes. During the water's resting time in the membrane, a quantity of ions passes through, and if you measure the TDS value at that point, it will be inaccurate. Wait for the water to flow for approximately 5 minutes before taking the measurement.
