Block activated carbon cartridge with BACinix, standard (10"x2.5")

Block activated carbon and BACinix (nanosilver technology) filter cartridge with a 10" size. Contains activated carbon from coconut shell (NSF approved) and bacteriostatic substance.

It effectively removes chlorine, organic substances, pesticides and improves the taste and flavor of water. It also reduces water hardness and the concentration of heavy metals (mercury, lead and arsenic).

The BACinix substance (nanosilver technology) protects the cartridge against bacterial growth and extends its lifespan.

The cartridge can only be used for cold water, up to 45 degrees Celsius.

The block activated carbon cartridge with BACinix:

- is used for pre-filtration in water purification systems (microfiltration / ultrafiltration / reverse osmosis);

- retains chlorine and its compounds;

- improves the taste and odor of water.

- has maximum efficiency when used under 500 liters of water per week.

The block activated carbon cartridge with BACinix retains sediment and fine particles from water. However, it must be preceded by a polypropylene sediment filter to extend the service life and operation of the carbon cartridge, which would otherwise become clogged with large impurities, significantly reducing its filtration surface.

We recommend replacing carbon cartridges every 6-9 months for water from the public network or from a well.
