Block Active Carbon Cartridge, Classic 10″ (CTO)

Block carbon filter cartridge with a size of 10". It effectively removes chlorine, organic substances, pesticides and improves the taste and aroma of water.

The cartridge can only be used for cold water, up to 45 degrees Celsius.

This activated carbon block filter cartridge is highly effective at retaining chlorine and its compounds (chloramine and trihalomethanes), as well as volatile organic compounds. It also improves the taste, smell and color of the water.

The block active carbon cartridge:

- is used for pre-filtration in water purification systems (microfiltration / ultrafiltration);

- retains chlorine and its compounds;

- improves the taste and smell of the water.

- has maximum efficiency when used under 500 liters of water per week.

The block active carbon cartridge does not retain sediment and fine particles from the water. They must always be preceded by a polypropylene sediment filter, which extends the lifespan and service life of the carbon cartridge, which would otherwise become clogged with large impurities, significantly reducing its filtration surface.

We recommend replacing the carbon cartridges every 6 months for public network water and approximately 9 months for well water.
