Terms and Conditions for the Installation Service of BIG BLUE Filter Housing (or a set of 2–3 BIG BLUE / CLEAR / BLACK housings)

The installation lead time is 3–7 business days, calculated from the date of purchase of the installation service. When equipment is delivered by courier, the installation period begins from the date the filter housings are delivered to the customer.

Coverage area:
Bucharest (all districts) and Ilfov (all localities). For other localities, please contact us to check service availability.

The installation service does not include additional installation materials (fittings, reducers, valves, hoses, special brackets, etc.) in the price, as in most cases these are included in the purchased product kit. If additional materials are required for installation, they will be charged separately, with the customer's agreement.

Note: BIG BLUE filter housings are usually delivered with a metal bracket and wrench for opening, and in some cases also with connecting elements. In most situations, these components are sufficient to complete the installation. If certain parts are not compatible with the existing plumbing (e.g. connection sizes), the technician may replace the connecting pieces with the appropriate size. This is only possible for equipment purchased from us.

Standard installation labour includes:

• One visit included to the customer's home or premises.

• Inspection of the installation site and compatibility check with the purchased equipment.

• Wall mounting of one BIG BLUE filter housing or a set of 2–3 filter housings.

• Connection of the filtration system to the existing cold water supply.

• Installation of filter cartridges into the housings.

• Making the hydraulic connections between housings (for systems with 2 or 3 filtration stages).

• Leak testing of the installation and performing a functional test.

• Basic check of system operation and filtered water flow rate.

The installation will be carried out in compliance with applicable legislation, best practice standards and safety regulations for plumbing installations. No work will be performed that could cause damage to the existing installation or that poses a risk of material or physical harm.

Installations requiring additional pipe runs, modifications to existing pipework, complex by-pass installation, welding work or major modifications to the installation, or any other situation exceeding the standard installation scope, will not be carried out under this service or will be performed at an additional cost, by mutual agreement with the customer.

Additional services, materials and accessories:

• Plastic push-fit connector – approximately 5–9 lei

• 6 mm flexible hose – 3 lei / metre

• Metal T-piece for supply – 25 lei

• Metal supply valve – 25 lei

• Metal fittings / threaded reducers – depending on size

• Installation of additional filter cartridge – 40 lei

• In-line UV steriliser installation – 70 lei

• Removal of existing filter or installation – 20–40 lei

Installations can only be carried out in localities accessible by road. Prices include VAT.

The installation service voucher is valid for a maximum of 3 months from the date of purchase and only in the localities mentioned.

If on the scheduled date the installation cannot be carried out for the following reasons: the customer is not present at the address, conditions for standard installation are not met, or the purchase documents for the equipment and service are not available, the cost of an additional visit for a new appointment will be borne by the customer and amounts to 80 RON.

The time slot communicated for the installation may be subject to changes due to traffic conditions, weather conditions, third-party events or a high volume of requests.

Not included in the standard installation:

• modification or repair work on the building's water installation;

• modification or repair work on the electrical installation;

• relocation of objects obstructing the installation (furniture, appliances, etc.);

• repositioning of the equipment after installation;

• masonry or finishing work (plastering, painting, drywall, etc.);

• concealment of installation routes (decorative channels, conduits, etc.);

• cleaning work resulting from the installation.

The customer must ensure appropriate working conditions for the installation team.

The customer assumes responsibility for any risks or damage to the existing water installation (in the case of old installations), furniture or walls, depending on the location chosen for installation.

In the case of service contracts, once the ordered service has been fully rendered, the contract is considered fulfilled, and the consumer may no longer request a refund of the amount paid. Any subsequent service (uninstallation, installation modification, installation of another system, etc.) constitutes a separate service and is carried out at an additional cost.

If the service was purchased online or by phone, the consumer loses the right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable legislation at the moment the service has been rendered.

Purchasing the BIG BLUE filter housing installation service implies acceptance of these terms and conditions. The customer agrees to the processing of their personal data by PureTECH Solutions SRL and its subcontractors for the purpose of executing the contracted services. Personal data will not be transferred to third parties and will not leave the territory of Romania.

* To benefit from the warranty, filtration equipment must be installed by qualified personnel / authorised companies or by purchasing the installation service offered by us.
