Terms and conditions for the UV water sterilizer installation service

The installation timeframe is 3–7 business days, calculated from the date of purchase of the installation service, except in cases where the equipment is delivered via courier services. In these cases, the installation period begins from the date the UV sterilizer is delivered to the client.

Coverage area:
Bucharest (all districts) and Ilfov (all localities). For other localities, please contact us to check service availability.

The installation service does not include additional installation materials (connectors, fittings, hoses, reducers, valves, etc.), as in most cases these are included in the purchased equipment kit. If additional materials are required for installation, these will be charged separately, with the client's agreement.

Note: UV sterilizers are usually delivered with a standard installation kit. In most cases, this is sufficient for installation. If certain components in the kit are not compatible with the existing installation (e.g. connection sizes), the technician may replace the standard connecting parts free of charge with the appropriate size, applicable only for equipment purchased from us.

Standard installation labor includes:

• One included visit to the client's home or premises.

• Inspection of the installation site and compatibility with the purchased UV equipment.

• Connection of the UV sterilizer to the existing water supply network.

• Mounting the equipment onto the water installation (typically on the cold water supply line or after existing filtration systems).

• Connecting the UV sterilizer's power supply to a nearby existing outlet.

• Checking the correctness of the installation, testing for any leaks, and performing an operational test.

Installation will be carried out in compliance with current legislation, best practice standards, and safety regulations, both for the installation site and for the technical team. No work will be performed that presents a major risk of damaging existing installations or causing material or physical harm.

Installations requiring modifications to the water installation, additional pipe or hose runs, electrical work, improper or improvised placements, or other interventions beyond the standard installation will not be carried out by the technician, or will be agreed upon at an additional cost, in mutual agreement with the client.

Additional services, materials, and accessories:

• Plastic connector – approximately 5–9 lei

• Flexible hose 6 mm – 3 lei / meter

• Metal T-connector for supply – 25 lei

• Metal supply valve – 25 lei

• Installation of additional filter cartridge – 40 lei

• Installation of 2-way faucet – 40 lei

• Installation of 3-way faucet – 40 lei

• Removal of old faucet – 20 lei

• Installation of an additional UV sterilizer in an existing system – 70 lei

Installations can be carried out only in localities with road access. Prices include VAT.

The installation service coupon is valid for a maximum of 3 months from the date of purchase and only in the listed localities.

In the event that on the scheduled date the installation cannot be carried out for the following reasons: the client is not present at the address, conditions for standard installation are not met, or the purchase documents for the equipment and service are not available, the cost of the additional visit for a new appointment will be borne by the client and amounts to 80 RON.

The time slot communicated for the installation may be subject to changes due to traffic conditions, weather conditions, third-party events, or a high volume of requests.

Not included in the standard installation:

• modification or repair work on the building's water installation;

• modification or repair work on the electrical installation;

• relocation of objects obstructing the installation (furniture, appliances, etc.);

• repositioning of the equipment after installation;

• masonry or finishing work (plastering, painting, drywall, etc.);

• concealment of installation routes (channels, decorative conduits, etc.);

• cleaning work resulting from the installation.

The client must ensure appropriate working conditions for the installation team.

The client assumes responsibility for any risks or damage to the existing water installation (in the case of older installations), furniture, or walls, depending on the chosen installation location.

In the case of service contracts, once the ordered service has been fully rendered (e.g. installation of the UV sterilizer), the contract is considered fulfilled, and the consumer may no longer request a refund of the amount paid. Any subsequent service (uninstallation, installation of different equipment, etc.) constitutes a separate service and is performed at an additional cost.

If the service was purchased online or by phone, the consumer loses the right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable legislation at the moment the service has been rendered.

Purchasing the UV sterilizer installation service implies acceptance of these terms. The client agrees to the processing of personal data by PureTECH Solutions SRL and its subcontractors for the purpose of fulfilling the contracted services. Personal data will not be transferred to third parties and will not leave the territory of Romania.

* To benefit from the warranty, water treatment equipment must be installed by qualified personnel / authorized companies or by purchasing the installation service offered by us.
