Terms and conditions for the installation of a domestic reverse osmosis system.

The installation timeframe is 3–7 working days from the date the installation service is purchased, except where the filtration systems are delivered via courier services. In such cases, the installation timeframe begins from the date of delivery of the filtration equipment.

The installation service does not include the cost of other materials required for fitting (connectors, hoses, T-pieces, etc.) as these are usually supplied in the water filter kit purchased. Should other materials be required to complete the installation, these will be charged for separately.

Note: Domestic reverse osmosis systems come with an installation kit included. In most cases, these are compatible and sufficient to carry out the installation. If any parts do not fit (e.g. a 1/2" T-joint), they will be replaced free of charge by a technician with the correct size for the installation. This applies only to equipment purchased from us.

Standard installation labour includes:

• One call-out to the customer’s home or premises.
• Checking the installation site and ensuring compatibility with the purchased system.
• Installing the filter cartridges in the system and connecting it to the water supply and the filtered water tap.
• Connecting the system to the cold water mains near the installation site.
• Connecting the system to the drainage system near the installation site.
• Connecting the storage tank (if applicable) to the reverse osmosis system.
• Drill a hole in the sink/worktop to fit the filtered water tap. Do not drill holes in ceramic or stone sinks.
• Carry out a functional test, check for any leaks and perform a brief check on the quality of the filtered water.

Installation must be carried out in accordance with relevant legislation, best practice guidelines and safety requirements for the installation site and the installation team (no work should be carried out that poses a high risk of causing material damage or physical harm).

Installations requiring additional drilling, extra hose runs, modifications to the water supply system, modifications to the electrical system, makeshift installations or other situations not included in the standard installation, shall not be carried out by the technician; instead, an alternative suitable technical solution shall be agreed upon by mutual consent and at an additional cost.

• Plastic connection fitting – ~5–9 lei
• 6 mm flexible hose – 3 lei per metre
• Metal supply fitting – 25 lei
• Metal supply tap – 25 lei
• Fitting of additional cartridge – 40 lei
• Fitting of 6–10W UV steriliser – 70 lei
• Fitting of a 2-way tap - 40 lei
• Fitting of a 3-way mixer tap - 40 lei
• Removal of old tap - 20 lei

Installations can only be carried out in areas with road access. Prices include VAT.

The voucher is valid for a maximum of 3 months, only within Romania and only in the specified counties and towns.

If, on the scheduled date, the installation cannot be carried out for the following reasons: the customer is not at home; conditions are not suitable for standard installation; the customer does not present the original purchase documents for the appliance and the service; the cost of the additional call-out at a later date will be borne by the customer and amounts to 80 RON.

The scheduled time slot for installation is subject to change due to traffic or weather conditions, events caused by third parties, or a high volume of requests.

The following are not included in the standard installation: labour, materials required for product installation and materials required for building work (plastering, painting, wallpapering, etc.), work to modify or repair the property’s electrical installation, operations to reposition objects that restrict installation (e.g. furniture), subsequent repositioning of the product after installation, cleaning work resulting from dust generation, work to conceal the route (using plasterboard, special ducts, etc.), etc.

The customer must ensure suitable working conditions for the installation team.

The customer assumes responsibility for any risks or potential damage to the water supply system (if it is old), to furniture and to walls resulting from the location chosen by the customer.

In the case of service contracts entered into with us, once the service ordered/purchased has been fully provided (for example, the product has been installed, uninstalled, cleaned, etc.), the service contract is deemed to have been fully performed, and the consumer may no longer request a refund of the payment made. Any other service requested separately or as an additional service (for example, uninstallation, installation of a new product, etc.) constitutes a separate service and will be carried out at the customer’s express request, subject to a charge. Where the service has been purchased online or by telephone, the consumer loses the right of withdrawal provided for by the legislation in force once the service ordered has been provided.

Purchasing the installation and commissioning service for water filtration systems implies acceptance of these terms and conditions for carrying out the installation. The customer consents to the processing of personal data by PureTECH Solutions SRL and its subcontractors for the purpose of performing the contracted services. Personal data will not be disclosed to any third parties and will not leave Romanian territory.

* To be eligible for the warranty, water filtration systems must be installed by professionals or companies authorised for such work, as per the warranty certificate provided by the manufacturer or seller, or following the purchase of our installation service.
