The Ecosoft Balance PRO reverse osmosis system is the latest compact filtration system, designed to provide you with pure water with optimal mineralisation, directly in your house or flat. Compared to the previous Ecosoft Balance PRO model, this system features an additional booster pump fitted to the metal frame. The metal frame also supports all the filter housings. This reverse osmosis water filter is ideal for filtering water in doctors’ surgeries, restaurants and small bars. It is made from high-quality, durable materials and is ideal for treating cold drinking water.

Ecosoft Balance PRO combines 75 GPD reverse osmosis membrane purification technology (0.0001 microns), pre- and post-filtration cartridges with dual activated carbon, and a special cartridge for remineralising the filtered water by enriching it with calcium and magnesium. This system stands out from all others due to the high efficiency of its reverse osmosis membrane. The membrane’s efficiency reaches up to 50 per cent.

The filtered water storage tank provides quick and uninterrupted access to pure water, up to its maximum capacity. The tank is made of food-grade, BPA-free plastic and is highly durable.

This filtration system is compact and stylish, and fits perfectly into small spaces; it can be easily installed either vertically or horizontally.

The filter is also fitted with a modern chrome-plated ceramic tap, which looks great in any kitchen. The filter housings are fitted with seals, thereby eliminating the risk of water leaks.

Installation is very straightforward, requiring no alterations to the plumbing and no plumber. All you need is a spanner and a pipe wrench.

Filtration technology:

1. A 5-micron polypropylene sediment filter that removes turbidity, dirt and residues, including rust, sludge, sand and other undissolved particles larger than 5 microns.

2. A granular activated carbon (GAC) cartridge which effectively removes chlorine and other chlorine derivatives, whilst also improving the taste and smell of the water.

3. A special block activated carbon (CTO) cartridge which pre-filters the water very effectively and removes chlorine and its derivatives. This cartridge contains a special resin that protects the reverse osmosis membrane and also increases its efficiency.

4. A 0.0001-micron reverse osmosis membrane with a capacity of 280 litres per day, which successfully removes over 99.8 per cent of contaminants, including lead, arsenic, fluorides, nitrates, iron, manganese, copper and other impurities.

5. A calcium and magnesium mineralisation filter which enriches the purified water with minerals essential for the human body, regulates the pH level and improves the taste of the water.

6. A coconut shell carbon filter which removes any residual taste and odour from the water.

Microbiological safety and conditions of use

• Reverse osmosis filtration systems are designed to improve the quality of drinking water and reduce impurities; however, they are not sterilisation devices and do not guarantee the complete elimination of microbiological contamination under all conditions of use.
• The quality of the filtered water depends on factors such as the quality of the feed water, correct installation, initial and regular sanitisation, and adherence to the replacement intervals for consumables.
• In the absence of proper installation and maintenance, bacteriological contamination may occur within the system or at the point of use. For applications involving microbiological risk, the use of a UV steriliser is recommended.
• Test results may be affected by how the water sample is collected, handled and transported.

System and tank dimensions:

– The filter housing is 43 cm wide, 49 cm high and 21 cm deep (43 cm × 49 cm × 21 cm).
– The storage tank is 40 cm high and 26 cm in diameter (40 cm × 26 cm)

Replacing the filter cartridges:

• The pre- and post-filtration cartridges (the first 3 and the last 2) should be replaced every 6–9 months.
• The reverse osmosis membrane should be replaced approximately every 12–18 months.

* The service life of the cartridges varies depending on the quality of the inlet water and the amount of water consumed.

Installation of the Ecosoft Balance PRO system:

The system comes fully assembled and tested directly from the manufacturer. You will need to fit the cold water inlet, the drain valve and the chrome-plated tap. Normally, the entire installation process takes just a few minutes and can be carried out by someone like yourself. The efficiency of the osmosis membrane ranges from 20 to 50 per cent, depending on the inlet water pressure. All the information is contained in the system manual. This is clear and concise, includes a detailed diagram and is in Romanian.

The system comes complete with a 1/2" connection fitting, a supply tap and all the accessories required for installation. If you require a different connection fitting (3/8" or 3/4"), please specify this in the order notes.
