The FILTRO ALKAFUSE 6MFP reverse osmosis filtration system is a premium, compact system, designed to provide you with pure water with a pH between 7 and 10, directly in your house or flat. This system is fitted with a high-power pressure pump and a sturdy metal frame. Furthermore, this complete water filtration system can also be used in doctors’ surgeries or in small restaurants and bars. It is made from high-quality, durable materials and is ideal for treating cold drinking water.

The FILTRO ALKAFUSE 6MFP combines 75 GPD reverse osmosis membrane purification technology (0.0001 microns) with pre- and post-filtration cartridges featuring dual activated carbon, as well as a special cartridge for water remineralisation and raising the pH of the filtered water by enriching it with calcium, magnesium and potassium. This system offers high efficiency thanks to its integrated booster pump. The system operates automatically via high- and low-pressure sensors.

The filtered water storage tank provides you with quick and uninterrupted access to pure water. The tank is made of food-grade, BPA-free plastic and is highly durable. It has a total capacity of 12 litres and a usable capacity of 6.8 litres. Filtration stops automatically once the tank is full.

This purification system is compact and, to ensure it fits perfectly into your space, it can be easily installed either vertically or horizontally. The purifier is also fitted with a classic chrome-plated ceramic cartridge, which blends in perfectly with any kitchen. The filter housings are fitted with seals, thereby eliminating the risk of water leaks.

Installation is very straightforward, requiring no alterations to the plumbing and no plumber. All you need is a spanner and a pipe wrench.

Technology and filtration stages:

1. A 5-micron polypropylene sediment filter (PP5) that removes turbidity, dirt and residues, including rust, oil, sand and other undissolved particles larger than 5 microns. It should be replaced approximately every 6–9 months.
2. Block activated carbon cartridge (CTO) which pre-filters the water very effectively and removes chlorine and its derivatives. It should be replaced approximately every 6–9 months.
3. Granular activated carbon (GAC) cartridge which effectively removes chlorine and other chlorine derivatives, whilst also improving the taste and smell of the water. It should be replaced approximately every 6–9 months.
4. A 0.0001-micron reverse osmosis membrane, with a capacity of 280 litres per day, which successfully removes over 99.8 per cent of contaminants, including lead, arsenic, fluorides, nitrates, iron, manganese, copper and other impurities. Replace every approx. 12–24 months
5. Alkafuse mineralisation and pH-boosting filter, which enriches the purified water with minerals essential for the human body, regulates the pH level and improves the taste of the water. It should be replaced after approx. 6–9 months.
6. Supplementary remineralisation filter which removes any residual taste and odour from the water. Replace after approx. 6–9 months.

Microbiological safety and conditions of use

• Reverse osmosis filtration systems are designed to improve the quality of drinking water and reduce impurities; however, they are not sterilisation equipment and do not guarantee the complete elimination of microbiological contamination under all conditions of use.
• The quality of the filtered water depends on factors such as the quality of the feed water, correct installation, initial and periodic sanitisation, and adherence to the replacement intervals for consumables.
• In the absence of correct installation and maintenance, bacterial contamination may occur within the system or at the point of use. For applications involving microbiological risk, the use of a UV steriliser is recommended.
• Test results may be affected by how the water sample is collected, handled and transported.

Installation of the FILTRO ALKAFUSE 6MFP system:

The system comes fully assembled and tested directly from the manufacturer. You will need to fit the cold water inlet, the drain valve and the chrome-plated tap. Normally, the entire installation process takes just a few minutes for someone like you to complete. The efficiency of the osmosis membrane is between 15 and 40 per cent, depending on the inlet water pressure. All the information is contained in the system manual. This is clear and concise, contains a detailed diagram and is in Romanian.

Dimensions of the system and the tank:

– The filter housing is 43 cm wide, 49 cm high and 21 cm deep (43 cm × 49 cm × 21 cm).
– The storage tank is 40 cm high and 26 cm in diameter (40 cm × 26 cm)

Replacing the filter cartridges:

• The pre-filtration cartridges (the first 3) and post-filtration cartridges (the last 2) should be replaced every 6–9 months
• The reverse osmosis membrane is replaced approximately every 12–24 months.

The system comes complete with a 1/2" connection fitting, a supply tap and all the accessories required for installation. If you require a different connection size (3/8" or 3/4"), please specify this in the order notes.
