Set calcium format din 5 cartuse

This intermediate set of 5 cartridges for pre-filtration, membrane and post-filtration is compatible with most reverse osmosis systems. The pre-filtration cartridges measure 10" in length and 2.5" in diameter, whilst the post-filtration cartridges are 10.8" long and 2" in diameter. The post-filters (Balance and Coconut) are fitted with quick-connect fittings into which the 1/4" flexible hose fits directly.

Filter elements included in the set, their function and service life:

1. Dual polypropylene cartridge with a filtration rating of 20 microns on the outside and 5 microns on the inside, which retains sediment and other impurities such as sand, silt or rust – recommended replacement every 6 months.
2. A granular activated carbon cartridge that reduces chlorine and its derivatives, as well as organic matter. This cartridge improves the colour, taste and smell of the water – recommended replacement every 6 months.
3. AquaGreen block activated carbon cartridge, which filters out chlorine and extends the lifespan of the reverse osmosis membrane. This cartridge protects the membrane and increases its efficiency – recommended replacement every 6 months.

5. Aquacalcium remineralisation post-filter, which enriches the water with calcium salts. It is an in-line cartridge fitted with two quick-connect fittings. This cartridge has a transparent housing measuring 10.8″x2″ – recommended replacement every 6 months
6. A post-filter containing granular activated carbon derived from coconut shells, which acts as a post-filter and improves the taste and odour of the filtered water. This is the final cartridge in the system – replacement recommended every 6 months.
   

Full maintenance cycle:
1. Pre-filtration cartridges (nos. 1, 2, 3) and post-filtration cartridges (nos. 4, 5), included in the set: normally replaced every 6 months*.
2. Reverse osmosis membrane (no. 4), not included in the set: should be replaced on average once every 12 months* (see 50 GPD, 75 GPD or 100 GPD membranes)
* depending on the quality of the inlet water.

This set contains:
✔ the intermediate set of 5 cartridges for month 6.

The requirement for a full year (12 months) is 2 sets of cartridges: 1 intermediate set (to be installed in the 6th month) and 1 complete set (to be installed in the 12th month). After that, the month counter is reset.

The lifespan of these cartridges varies depending on the quality of the incoming water; however, the recommended replacement interval is specified for each individual cartridge. This set of 5 cartridges represents the average 6-month replacement set. The set of 5 cartridges is supplied in a box of 5 or as individual components. All cartridges are individually sealed and must be checked for leaks immediately upon receipt.
