FILTRO Calcium MINT 6MCM is a combination of 75 GPD reverse osmosis membrane purification technology (0.0001 microns), pre and post filtration cartridges with dual activated carbon, as well as a special cartridge for remineralizing filtered water enriched with calcium. This system differs from all others because it has a high osmosis membrane efficiency. Membrane efficiency reaches up to 50%.

The filtered water storage tank gives you quick and uninterrupted access to pure water, within the maximum capacity. The tank is made of food-grade plastic, BPA free and is highly resistant.

This filtration system is compact with a superb appearance and fits perfectly in small spaces; it can be installed easily, both vertically and horizontally.

The filter is also equipped with a chrome ceramic faucet, a modern design that fits perfectly in any kitchen. The filter housings are fitted with gaskets, eliminating the risk of water leaks.

Installation is very easy, without modifying the plumbing and without a plumber. You only need an adjustable wrench and a pipe threader.

Filtration technology:
1. 5-micron polypropylene sediment filter that removes turbidity, dirt and residues, including rust, mud, sand and other undissolved particles larger than 5 microns.
2. Granular activated carbon (GAC) cartridge that effectively removes chlorine and other chlorine derivatives, also improving the taste and odor of water.
3. Special block activated carbon (CTO) cartridge that pre-filters water very effectively and removes chlorine and its derivatives. This cartridge contains a special resin that protects the reverse osmosis membrane and also increases its efficiency.
4. 0.0001-micron reverse osmosis membrane, 280 liters per day, which successfully removes over 99.8% of contaminants, including lead, arsenic, fluorides, nitrates, iron, manganese, copper and other impurities.
5. Calcium and magnesium mineralization filter that enriches purified water with essential minerals for the human body, regulates the pH level and improves the taste of water.
6. Coconut shell carbon filter that removes residual taste and odor from water.

Microbiological safety and conditions of use

• Reverse osmosis filtration systems are designed to improve the quality of drinking water and reduce impurities, but are not sterilization equipment and do not guarantee complete elimination of microbiological contamination under all conditions of use.
• The quality of filtered water depends on factors such as the quality of the feed water, correct installation, initial and periodic sanitization, as well as adherence to consumable replacement intervals.
• Without proper installation and maintenance, bacteriological contamination may occur within the system or at the point of consumption. For applications with microbiological risk, the use of a UV sterilizer is recommended.
• Analysis results may be influenced by the method of sampling, handling and transport of the water sample.

System and tank dimensions:

– The filter body is 44 cm wide, 31 cm tall and 19 cm deep (44x31x19 cm).
– The storage tank is 35 cm tall and 26 cm in diameter (35×26 cm)

Filter cartridge replacement:

• The pre and post-filtration cartridges (first 3 and last 2) should be replaced every 6-9 months.
• The reverse osmosis membrane should be replaced approximately every 18-24 months.

FILTRO Calcium MINT 6MCM system installation:

The system comes assembled and tested directly from the manufacturer. You will need to install the cold water supply fitting, the drain valve and the chrome faucet. Normally, the entire installation procedure takes just a few minutes and can be carried out by a person like yourself. The osmosis membrane efficiency is between 20 and 50% depending on the incoming water pressure. All information is provided in the system manual, which is detailed, contains a comprehensive diagram and is available in English.

The system comes with a 1/2″ connection fitting, a feed valve and all accessories required for installation. If you need a different connection fitting (3/8″ or 3/4″), please specify this in the order notes.
