The Ecosoft Absolut MO675ECOST is a reverse osmosis water purifier that delivers pure water straight to your kitchen. This system comprises six stages of filtration, including a 0.0001-micron osmotic membrane. It also features a special cartridge for remineralisation. The storage tank is included and has a capacity of 12 litres.

This type of reverse osmosis filter is designed for both domestic use and for use in medical practices, chemical laboratories, restaurants or offices. It is made from very high-quality materials and has a long service life. Furthermore, the consumables are easy to replace and are inexpensive.

Reverse osmosis water filtration is generally considered the most efficient method of water filtration currently available on the market. It is based on technology developed by NASA to purify and recycle water consumed and excreted by astronauts. Reverse osmosis water treatment is based on a physical process, namely the filtration of water through a semi-permeable membrane, which does not involve any chemical treatment. The resulting water is pure and safe to drink. This system will provide purified water for the whole family. The following contaminants are completely removed from the water: chlorine, chlorides, phosphates, nitrates, sulphates, sodium, potassium, ammonium, etc. 

This system is also fitted with a simple ceramic cartridge filter.

Technical specifications:

Filter 1: a 5-micron polypropylene (PP) cartridge that removes large sediments such as sand, soil and rust, as well as other impurities often caused by deposits in old water systems. Replace every 6–9 months.
Filter 2: block activated carbon (CTO) cartridge which removes chlorine and other chemical compounds harmful to the body. Replace every 6–9 months.
Filter 3: 1-micron polypropylene (PP) cartridge for filtering out particles larger than 1 micron. Replace every 6–9 months.
Filter 4: Reverse osmosis membrane with a filtration fineness of 0.0001 microns. This has the capacity to filter 290 litres of water per day. Replace every 2–5 years.
Filter 5: Granular activated carbon (GAC) post-filter to improve the taste and smell of the water. Replace every 9–12 months.
Filter 6: Remineralisation post-filter. Replace every 9–12 months.

Microbiological safety and conditions of use

• Reverse osmosis filtration systems are designed to improve the quality of drinking water and reduce impurities; however, they are not sterilisation equipment and do not guarantee the complete elimination of microbiological contamination under all conditions of use.
• The quality of the filtered water depends on factors such as the quality of the feed water, correct installation, initial and periodic sanitisation, and adherence to the replacement intervals for consumables.
• In the absence of proper installation and maintenance, bacteriological contamination may occur within the system or at the point of use. For applications involving microbiological risk, the use of a UV steriliser is recommended.
• Test results may be affected by the method used to collect, handle and transport the water sample.
