The Ecosoft Standard reverse osmosis water filtration system provides you with pure water straight into your kitchen. This system consists of five stages of filtration and includes both the tap and the storage tank. The filtered water storage tank has a capacity of 12 litres and is included in the package.

This type of reverse osmosis filter is designed for both domestic use and for medical centres, chemical laboratories, restaurants or offices. It is made from high-quality materials and all components have been tested by NSF and WRAS.

Reverse osmosis water treatment is based on a physical process, namely the filtration of water through a semi-permeable membrane, which does not involve any chemical treatment. The water obtained through reverse osmosis is pure, demineralised and virtually sterile. This system will provide purified water for the whole family. The following contaminants are completely removed from the water: chlorine, chlorides, phosphates, nitrates, sulphates, sodium, potassium, ammonium, etc.

Technical specifications:

Filter 1: a 5-micron polypropylene (PP) cartridge that removes large sediments such as sand, soil and rust, as well as other impurities that often arise due to deposits in old water systems. It should be replaced every 3–6 months.

Filter 2: a granular activated carbon (GAC) cartridge that removes chlorine and other chemical compounds harmful to the body. It should be replaced every 6–9 months.

Filter 3: 1-micron polypropylene (PP) cartridge for filtering out particles larger than 1 micron. It should be replaced every 6–9 months.

Filter 4: Reverse osmosis membrane with a filtration precision of 0.0001 microns. It has a capacity to filter 12 litres of water per hour. Replace every 24 months.

Filter 5: Block activated carbon post-filter (CTO) to improve the taste of the water. Replace every 9–12 months.

Microbiological safety and conditions of use

• Reverse osmosis filtration systems are designed to improve the quality of drinking water and reduce impurities; however, they are not sterilisation equipment and do not guarantee the complete elimination of microbiological contamination under all conditions of use.
• The quality of the filtered water depends on factors such as the quality of the feed water, correct installation, initial and periodic sanitisation, and adherence to consumables replacement intervals.
• In the absence of proper installation and maintenance, bacteriological contamination may occur within the system or at the point of use. For applications involving microbiological risk, the use of a UV steriliser is recommended.
• Test results may be influenced by the method of sampling, handling and transport of the water sample.

– The filter housing is 43 cm wide, 49 cm high and 21 cm deep (43 cm × 49 cm × 21 cm).
