The FILTRO Standard 5S reverse osmosis water filtration system provides pure water directly in your kitchen. This system consists of 5 filtration stages and includes both the faucet and the storage tank. The filtered water storage tank is 12 liters and is included in the package.

This type of reverse osmosis filter is suitable for both domestic use and medical offices, chemical laboratories, restaurants or offices. It is made from very high quality materials and all components have been tested by NFS and WRAS.

Reverse osmosis water treatment is based on a physical phenomenon, namely the filtration of water through a semipermeable membrane, which does not involve chemical treatment. Water obtained through reverse osmosis is pure, demineralized and almost sterile. This system will provide purified water for the entire family. The following contaminants are completely removed from the water: chlorine, chlorides, phosphates, nitrates, sulfates, sodium, potassium, ammonium, etc.

Technical specifications:

Filter 1: polypropylene (PP) cartridge of 5 microns that removes large sediments such as sand, dirt and rust and other impurities that often occur due to deposits from old water installations. Replace every 3-6 months.

Filter 2: granular activated carbon (GAC) cartridge that removes chlorine and other chemical compounds harmful to the body. Replace every 6-9 months.

Filter 3: polypropylene (PP) cartridge of 1 micron for filtering sediments larger than 1 micron. Replace every 6-9 months.

Filter 4: Reverse osmosis membrane with a filtration fineness of 0.0001 microns. It has the capacity to filter 12 liters of water per hour. Replace every 24 months.

Filter 5: Block activated carbon (CTO) post-filter to improve the taste of the water. Replace every 9-12 months.

Microbiological safety and conditions of use

• Reverse osmosis filtration systems are designed to improve the quality of drinking water and reduce impurities, but they are not sterilization equipment and do not guarantee the complete elimination of microbiological contamination under all conditions of use.
• The quality of the filtered water depends on factors such as the quality of the feed water, the correctness of installation, initial and periodic sanitization, as well as compliance with consumable replacement intervals.
• In the absence of proper installation and maintenance, bacteriological contamination may occur at the system or point-of-use level. For applications with microbiological risk, the use of a UV sterilizer is recommended.
• Analysis results may be influenced by the method of sampling, handling and transport of the water sample.
