Reverse osmosis water filtration system for pure water, delivered straight to your kitchen. This system comprises five stages of filtration and includes a high-power pressure pump. The filtered water storage tank has a total capacity of 12 litres, is BPA-free and is included in the package.

This type of reverse osmosis filter is designed for both domestic use and for medical clinics, chemical laboratories, restaurants or offices. It is made from high-quality materials and all components have been tested by NSF and WRAS.

Reverse osmosis water treatment is based on a physical process, namely the filtration of water through a semi-permeable membrane, which does not involve any chemical treatment. The water produced by reverse osmosis is pure and free from bacteria and viruses. This system will provide purified water for the whole family. The following contaminants are removed from the water: chlorine, chlorides, phosphates, nitrates, sulphates, sodium, potassium, ammonium, etc. 

This filter is also fitted with a pump to increase the pressure.

Technical specifications:

Filter 1: a 5-micron polypropylene (PP) cartridge that removes large sediments such as sand, soil and rust, as well as other impurities that often occur due to deposits in old water systems. It should be replaced every 6–9 months.

Filter 2: a granular activated carbon (GAC) cartridge that removes chlorine and other chemical compounds harmful to the body. It should be replaced every 6–9 months.

Filter 3: 1-micron polypropylene (PP) cartridge for filtering out particles larger than 1 micron. It should be replaced every 6–9 months.

Filter 4: Reverse osmosis membrane with a filtration rating of 0.0001 microns. It has the capacity to filter 12 litres of water per hour. Replace every 12–24 months.

Filter 5: Granular activated carbon (GAC) post-filter to improve the taste of the water. Replace every 9–12 months.

You can enhance the system by adding the following:

1. Remineralisation – A post-filter to add minerals to the filtered water.

2. UV steriliser – This is fitted after the last cartridge in the system and secured with special clamps.

Microbiological safety and conditions of use

• Reverse osmosis filtration systems are designed to improve the quality of drinking water and reduce impurities; however, they are not sterilisation devices and do not guarantee the complete elimination of microbiological contamination under all conditions of use.
• The quality of the filtered water depends on factors such as the quality of the feed water, correct installation, initial and periodic sanitisation, and adherence to the replacement intervals for consumables.
• In the absence of proper installation and maintenance, bacterial contamination may occur within the system or at the point of use. For applications involving microbiological risk, the use of a UV steriliser is recommended.
• Test results may be affected by how the water sample is collected, handled and transported.

The pack contains:

System and tank dimensions:

– The filter housing is 43 cm wide, 49 cm high and 21 cm deep (43 cm × 49 cm × 21 cm).

– The storage tank is 40 cm high and 26 cm in diameter (40 cm × 26 cm)

Replacing the filter cartridges:

• The pre-filter cartridges (the first 3) should be replaced every 6–9 months
• The post-filtration cartridge (the last one) should be replaced every 9–12 months
• The reverse osmosis membrane should be replaced after approximately 18–24 months.

* The lifespan of the cartridges varies depending on the quality of the incoming water, as well as the amount of water consumed.

Original replacement cartridges:

- Set of 3 pre-filtration cartridges – cartridges 1, 2 and 3, to be replaced every 6–9 months. Other compatible pre-filtration cartridge versions are also available.

- Reverse osmosis membrane, FILTRO TFC 50G, 0.0001 microns, 50 GPD (189 litres/day) – cartridge no. 4, to be replaced every 18–24 months. Higher-capacity versions are also available: 75 GPD or 100 GPD.

- Granular activated carbon filter with 1/4” quick-connect fittings – Cartridge no. 5 should be replaced every 9–12 months.

- OPTIONAL: Remineralisation filter with 1/4″ quick-connect fittings – Cartridge no. 6 is fitted on top of no. 5 using 2"x2" clamps

The system comes complete with a 1/2" connection fitting, a supply tap and all the accessories required for installation. If you require a different connection fitting (3/8" or 3/4"), please specify this in the order notes.
