Transparent housing set with 1" brass thread, purge valve, bracket, wrench, standard 10"

10″ (25 cm) filter housing compatible with a 10″x2.5″ filter cartridge. The package includes a transparent housing, a blue cap, a wall mounting bracket and a tightening wrench.

The filter housing is made from high-quality materials and also features an air relief or depressurization valve. It has an excellent finish.

The filter housing connects to the cold water pipe. Installation is easy, requiring no electrical connection or drain connection. The housing connection thread is 1″.

Recommended cartridges:

• Washable polyester sediment cartridge, 20 microns
• Washable nylon cartridge, 50 microns, plastic mesh

This transparent housing is compatible with any standard 10″ filter cartridge. You can choose either an activated carbon cartridge (for chlorine filtration), a softening cartridge or another sediment filter cartridge. We recommend using a washable sediment cartridge.

Replacing the filter cartridge:

After the cartridge filtration period (3-6-9 months), replacement is straightforward. Turn off the water supply and then release the pressure from the housing by opening the valve. Using the wrench included in the package, unscrew the housing and remove the old (used) cartridge. Then rinse the inside of the housing thoroughly with water and insert the new filter cartridge. The final step is to screw the housing back on securely using the wrench from the package.
