This highly precise screen captures 99% of large sediment particles from the incoming water supply. These particles include sand, dirt, sludge, turbidity, and others. It is a mandatory pre-filter for any home or facility. This system protects the pipes and other water filtration equipment in the home, significantly extending the lifespan of all other filtration equipment. In addition, the pipes will remain clean, as will the screens of the household water taps.

Durable and robust: Made from high-quality molecular materials, the system's transparent housing is freeze-resistant, crack-resistant and leak-free, while the brass fittings of the pre-filtration system are all lead-free (Pb). The FILTRO PROTECTOR 800 filtration system is extremely resistant. It has passed the hammer-blow resistance test 100,000 times at a pressure of 900 psi. With top-tier quality, it consistently filters a high flow of water, perfectly meeting the daily water needs of the entire family. The maximum flow rate is 4.5 m3 per hour.

Easy installation: The unit comes with the stainless steel screen pre-assembled. The whole-house water filter can be installed with ease. You can choose 1” FNPT or 3/4 M/FNPT hoses or pipes to connect the water filter to your plumbing. The connecting fittings are also equipped with saw-tooth threads that reduce the risk of leakage. To start the system, you can use 3 AA batteries (not included) or use the adapter included in the package.

Cost-effective choice: The stainless steel mesh screen of the water filter can be washed and reused. Instead of being replaced, the smart sediment water filter pays for itself in the long run by automatically self-cleaning at the set interval. It blocks sediment particles and extends the lifespan of point-of-use water filters, saving you a lot of money on replacement filters. For long-term use, simply remove the screen from the housing and brush it thoroughly.

Smart maintenance: One step above reusable, the FILTRO advanced sediment filter achieves the "Install and forget" concept by incorporating an automatic backwash function. The pre-filtration system will automatically scrape the sediments trapped on the mesh filter, flush the stainless steel screen and then flush out the impurities for 15 seconds at each preset interval (7, 15 or 30 days). Say goodbye to a conventional manually-purged filter and enjoy endless clean water throughout your entire home, without regular manual flushing! In addition, if needed, you can press the cleaning button whenever necessary.
