    Description

    The FILTRO ALK3 alkalizing system installs independently or after a reverse osmosis station. It contains a filter cartridge, which is replaced approximately every 12 months and significantly improves water taste, increases pH, and regulates odor.

    3-in-1 Filtration: the cartridge combines alkaline particles, mineral substances, and block carbon into a single filter to improve and regulate the taste and odor of water purified by reverse osmosis membranes. This system also increases the pH of the filtered water and transforms it into alkaline water. Alkalinity varies depending on how long the water remains in the cartridge.

    pH Level Increase: the human body regulates pH levels to approximately 7.3 to maintain optimal health. Reverse osmosis systems provide water with a neutral pH, around 7, however, this alkalizing cartridge increases water pH by 1-2 points above that of the inlet water. This is beneficial for the body.

    Restoration of Essential Minerals: the mineral layer of the filter adds mineral salts back into the purified water, ensuring the daily intake of minerals. Please note that minerals may contribute to a HIGHER TDS value, but mineralized water is much healthier than pure water with low TDS. Additionally, the carbon block regulates taste, eliminates odors and other remaining pollutants from water purified by reverse osmosis, as a final stage.

    Maximum Compatibility: the system features a 1/4" quick connect. It can be used as is, but we recommend installing it after a reverse osmosis purification system. It is compatible with all reverse osmosis systems on the market.

    Easy Installation and Quick Replacement: In just a few minutes you can install it, without the help of a plumber or extra tools. Thanks to the auto shut-off valve, you don't even need to turn off the water supply when replacing the cartridge. The TWIST system makes cartridge replacement a breeze. Each cartridge can provide up to 3000 liters of mineralized and alkaline water, which is equivalent to approximately 1 year of use. Twice as much as standard mineralization cartridges.

    I've been using the system for 1.5 years, now I'm placing an order for replacements. It was a bit harder to unscrew this element but I managed. What I would like is to have a spare gasket. This one was already a bit nicked, I don't know if it would have survived another replacement.

    After 1 year of use, I decided to replace it with a new filter, but it can't be unscrewed. I broke both plastic keys that came with the filter, 0 progress, I'll probably have to buy a whole new filtration unit given that I already have a new replacement filter for it…

    Da, stim ca este mai dificila inlocuirea. Tocmai din acest o sa inlocuim cheile din pachet cu une reglabila care sa prinda foarte bine corpul mare al filtrului. In plus, o sa adaugam la vanzare si carcasa cartusului impreuna cu cartusul pentru a-l inlocui imediat, fara unelte.

Si ar trebuii sa trimita tuturor care se plang de aceasta problema si au luat acest sistem alkalinizare pe baza comenzii , gratuit cheie reglabila. Daca problema e stiuta trebuia facut ceva sau alt sistem la cartuse. Ca nu toata lumea e invetiv sa dea cu mânaa ssu cu ceva sa se desfaca.     Hello. I am a customer and I have this product. First, you are rating a product as 1-star (which indicates it is a completely awful, non-performing shit product) based on the fact you were unable to unscrew a cylinder. Second, have you tried contacting Filtro? Their customer service is excellent. Reserve star rating for the function of the product, not your emotional experience. I see this on eMag all the time... 5-stars I have not used the product yet, but delivery was fast. 1-star, I wanted it Tuesday, but it arrived Wednesday. Neither comment have anything to do with the product, nor help a potential customer decided if the product functions for them.

    The water is indeed alkalized and remineralized. My TDS is around 20, but it doesn't drop below 7-8 even if I let the water run longer. And it's normal for the TDS to be higher at first and to decrease over time.
