This cationic resin cartridge is a water softening cartridge. The Big Blue 20" cartridge reduces water hardness by lowering the concentration of calcium and magnesium in the water.

It measures 20″x4.5″ (50 x 11.5 cm) and is compatible with Big Blue 20″ filter housings. The cartridge is equipped with pre and post filters to prevent media particles from being released into the water. It has been designed to ensure optimal contact between the water and the softening resin. At the same time, maximum performance for negative ion exchange has been targeted.

Hard water damages household items (kettles, coffee pots, etc.) and can also affect the taste of food and beverages. After the water passes through this cartridge, the calcium content in the water will be reduced.
