Smart features

Cartridge lifespan monitoring

The built-in indicator tracks the remaining capacity: one segment goes out for every 600 L of purified water, and when only 200 L remain, the last segment turns red. At the same time, three short beeps sound when the drinking water tap is turned on.

Easy cartridge replacement

Replacing the cartridges is quick and requires no tools. After replacing them, press ‘Restart’ to reset the indicator and you can continue using the filter as normal.

Automatic flushing

The CROSS MAX filter is equipped with an automatic membrane flush function, which maintains stable filtration performance. The flush is carried out automatically in the following situations:

• After each use of the drinking water tap – a short flush to remove concentrated impurities from the membrane surface.
• After connecting the filter to the water supply – an initial flush to prepare the filter.
• After 24 hours of inactivity – a preventative flush to maintain membrane performance.

In addition, the user can activate manual flushing using the button on the control panel. Automatic flushing reduces natural diffusion during periods of inactivity and helps to extend the membrane’s service life.

Automatic filter protection

The CROSS MAX filter is equipped with an over-operation protection function. If the filter operates continuously for more than 10 minutes, it automatically shuts off the water supply. This prevents potential leaks and protects the system from overloading.

Cartridge maintenance

To maintain optimum performance, the CROSS MAX filter requires the filter cartridges to be replaced periodically:

• Replacement pre-filter for CROSS MAX (CPVCBDFRO) – replace after 2,000 litres of purified water (approx. 12 months). It traps sediment and reduces chlorine, protecting the RO membrane and ensuring consistent filtration.
• Replacement RO membrane for CROSS MAX (CSVPDRO800) – to be replaced after 2,000 litres of purified water (approx. 12 months). Reduces PFAS, dissolved contaminants and mineral impurities, providing high-flow filtration.

The actual service life of the cartridges depends on the quality of the mains water.
