The FILTRO Glaciar Pure water dispenser adds a touch of style to any kitchen or company premises. The dispenser features a built-in reverse osmosis purification system comprising four high-performance cartridges with a quick-connect twist mechanism. The cartridges are connected at the bottom of the dispenser, in a dedicated compartment. Replacing the cartridges is very easy thanks to the quick-connect system.

This dispenser is already fitted with a filtration system comprising four cartridges: PP, CTO, RO, T33 and UV. It dispenses cold water (~4 degrees Celsius) and hot water (up to 90 degrees Celsius).

The storage tanks (for hot and cold water) are made of stainless steel. The heating element in the hot water tank is external, making it very easy to replace should this be necessary. The dispenser is fitted with a hot water safety cut-out.

Integrated filtration system

A 4-stage reverse osmosis system is installed in the lower compartment of the FILTRO Glaciar Pure water dispenser, whilst the cold water tank contains a UV steriliser to eliminate and prevent bacteria. This filtration system provides you with safe, great-tasting water that is free from impurities, chemical contaminants and even bacteria. Filtration takes place via a 0.0001-micron reverse osmosis membrane, which is effectively the best filtration method without waste water discharge.

The reverse osmosis system consists of four cartridges with a twist-lock mechanism. Cartridges can be replaced very quickly, without the need for specialised staff and without splashing water.

1. A polypropylene pre-filter, which filters out sediments larger than 1 micron, such as rust, sand, soil, etc. Replacement required approximately every 6 months.
2. Activated coconut shell carbon filter cartridge, with two stages of filtration. In the first stage, it removes chlorine, chlorine derivatives and organic contaminants. In the second stage, it improves the taste of the water by removing substances that give the water an unpleasant taste and odour. Replace after approximately 6 months.
3. 0.0001-micron reverse osmosis membrane. Replace after approx. 6–12 months.
4. Activated carbon filter cartridge made from coconut shell, which improves the taste of the water and removes heavy metals such as mercury, arsenic and lead. Replace after approx. 6 months.
5. UV steriliser located in the cold water tank. This steriliser removes bacteria from the water and prevents them from multiplying. The UV lamp bulb should be replaced every 12 months.

Info: The dispenser will be supplied with an installation kit comprising a flexible hose and a water mains connection system (1/2"). In practice, the dispenser can be installed directly onto the water supply. Depending on the distance at which you wish to install the system, please purchase an additional flexible hose.

Microbiological safety and conditions of use

• Reverse osmosis filtration systems are designed to improve the quality of drinking water and reduce impurities; however, they are not sterilisation devices and do not guarantee the complete elimination of microbiological contamination under all conditions of use.
• The quality of the filtered water depends on factors such as the quality of the feed water, correct installation, initial and periodic sanitisation, and adherence to the replacement intervals for consumables.
• In the absence of proper installation and maintenance, bacteriological contamination may occur within the system or at the point of use. For applications involving microbiological risk, the use of a UV steriliser is recommended.
• Test results may be influenced by how the water sample is collected, handled and transported.

Installation and commissioning:

Warning! After transporting the dosing unit, it must be left in an upright position for at least 12 hours before connecting and switching on the cold water compressor. The equipment must be installed by qualified personnel, and it is essential to read the user manual in full and to download and complete the warranty certificate available in your customer account. The qualified person or company commissioning the machine must check the installation and enter the measured values for the supply water into the certificate. This equipment contains consumables. If these have been unsealed or the system has been filled with water, a return is no longer possible.
