    Description

    The ultraviolet (UV) lamp has a power of 6W and is used in UV sterilizers to effectively eliminate algae, fungi and bacteria. The water is exposed to UV waves for a short period of time. The nucleic acid, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and ribonucleic acid (RNA) in microorganisms are absorbed by UV rays and destroyed by them, thus sterilizing the water.

    The replacement UV lamp has a power of 6W and is perfect for sterilizing water supplied by a water purification system. This lamp, together with the 6W UV sterilizer, can be installed on both classic kitchen water purifiers, reverse osmosis systems, as well as water dispensers or commercial filtration systems (pastry shops, bars, restaurants, etc.).

    It is recommended for sterilizing purified well water, as well water poses a constant risk of microbiological contamination.

    The length of the bulb is 22 cm including all 4 pins.
