FILTRO Standard ALK5 is a 5-stage filtration system that mounts under the kitchen cabinet countertop and contains 5 high-performance filter cartridges that are replaced every 6-12 months.

The first cartridge removes sediments (PP5) such as sand, dirt and rust up to 5 microns in size. It is perfect for eliminating impurities that often occur due to deposits in old water pipes.

The second cartridge is made of silver ion block activated carbon. The cartridge's efficiency duration depends on the amount of limescale in the water. The cartridge contains ion exchange resin.

The third cartridge is made of granular activated carbon (GAC) with KDF, which removes chlorine, pesticides and other organic substances. It also removes heavy metals from the water. This final activated carbon cartridge improves the taste and eliminates unpleasant odor from the water.

The fourth cartridge features an ultracapillary membrane that filters bacteria and viruses down to 0.02 microns. It acts as a very fine sieve that stops the smallest impurities and bacteria.

The last filter is for alkalinization and ionization with ORP potential (oxidation-reduction potential), through which the water becomes alkaline, preventing acidification of the body. It is also an ionization filter containing a mix of bioceramic particles.
