This automatic Clack CI TWIN 1665 station does not include resin inside the fiberglass tank. In each tank, 100-125 liters of resin (depending on type) can be added, chosen from the available options (Ecomix A/C/P, Dowex, Ecolite, etc.). You can choose resin for softening (Dowex® HCRS/S) or mixed resin (Ecomix A, Ecomix C or Ecomix P). Ecomix resins treat 5 water problems: hardness, iron, manganese, ammonium and organic matter.

The station is operated by a Clack CI TWIN electronic valve (USA) with a digital display and EEPROM memory, which retains control settings even during power outages. The Clack CI valve is the best and most reliable control valve available. The valve is manufactured in the USA, is easily programmable, and has a service life of at least 10 years.

The Clack control valve is manufactured in the USA and is the most reliable control valve available worldwide. The piston is positioned optically using a photocell, eliminating the disadvantages of other valves that position the piston using mechanical cams, which wear out over time.

The valve allows programming of complex multi-phase regenerations. The display shows: exact time, days remaining until regeneration, water volume remaining until regeneration, instantaneous flow rate, and filtered water volume. Regeneration will take place after a preset water volume has been consumed at startup, at night when demand for treated water is assumed to be absent.

In this station you can add 200-250 liters of resin across 2 tanks of 16″x65″ positioned side by side. The station also comes equipped with a brine tank. The station does not include filter media, which must be purchased separately. You can choose from 4 types of resin: Dowex® HCRS/S, Ecomix A, Ecomix C or Ecomix P. The Clack CI TWIN 1665 station is suitable for large homes or even commercial and industrial applications. The nominal filtration flow rate is 5-7 m3/hour, although this may vary depending on the resin used. The station is installed immediately after the water supply enters the property (usually after the water meter) and operates automatically, without your intervention. Only salt tablets need to be added to the tank.

Protection and installation:
To protect the station, we recommend installing a sediment pre-filter capable of providing the required water flow rate. After water softening stations, it is also recommended to install an activated carbon post-filter to reduce excess sodium after resin backwashing.
