FILTRO RO 250L

This industrial reverse osmosis station, Ecosoft MO6500TP5, is a compact, lightweight and efficient system that will help you filter up to 250 litres of water per hour (6 m3 per day).

It is a reverse osmosis station that includes a housing for 1 membrane of 4". The membrane is not included in the system and must be purchased separately: Ecosoft ELP4040 or DowFilmtec XLE4040

This system is fully automated. It features an integrated controller that continuously monitors the quality of the filtered water. The station is compact, easy to transport and silent.

Ecosoft MO6500TP5 is designed to provide purified water in large homes, cafes, restaurants, laboratories, laundries, steam generators and other industries where you need pure water at a volume of approx. 250 litres / hour.

The reverse osmosis station also includes a 20″ Big Blue housing equipped with a 5-micron polypropylene cartridge. This way, water is pre-filtered from sediments such as sand, rust and other impurities.

During the filtration process, water is split into 2 streams: purified and concentrated. Part of the concentrated water is discharged to the drain (wastewater), however another part is directed back to the high-pressure pump. This way, water that would normally be lost is passed through the filtration process once more. If the inlet water has a high calcium and magnesium content, it is recommended to soften it before it reaches the osmosis membrane. This protects the membrane against limescale deposits.

The purified water is then transferred to a tank (not included) in which a float switch is installed. When the tank is full, the switch sends a signal to the osmosis station and it stops the filtration.

The station self-rinses at regular intervals. This process is called hydraulic flushing and lasts approx. 1-2 minutes, during which time the station will be in service mode.

The controller has the ability to:
– control the osmosis station according to the water level in the tank
– perform automatic membrane flushing
– protect the pressure pump against dry running and burnout
– measure and display the quality of the filtered water

To maintain this type of industrial osmosis station, the sediment cartridge must be replaced every 3-4 months. This cartridge filters and protects the membranes against sand and other impurities.

If this station will not be used for an extended period, it is recommended to shut off the water supply and also turn off the reverse osmosis station. Any cleaning, sanitising or repair work carried out on the station should be recorded in a log.
