FILTRO Family Blue 20 is a complete water protection and treatment solution, specially designed for medium-sized homes, where the water is semi-hard and consumption is moderate to high. The system has been engineered to ensure an optimal balance between performance, reliability and safety, providing properly treated water for the entire home and superior quality purified water for drinking.

The configuration integrates multiple essential filtration and treatment stages, designed to protect the plumbing, appliances and household equipment, while also significantly improving the quality of water used daily for drinking and cooking.

The first stage is provided by the FILTRO PROTECTOR 800 automatic backwash system, equipped with a 40-micron stainless steel screen. It effectively retains coarse sediments such as sand, rust and silt, with automatic cleaning at pre-set intervals of 7, 15 or 30 days, requiring no manual intervention. This stage reduces the load on subsequent cartridges and increases the reliability of the entire system.

Fine mechanical filtration is achieved through a BIG CLEAR 20" housing, fitted with a 5-micron polypropylene cartridge, which removes suspended particles remaining in the water. The transparent housing allows visual monitoring of the cartridge's loading level, facilitating proper and timely maintenance.

The softening stage is provided by the FILTRO Blue 200 compact station, equipped with 20 litres of resin and a Clack automatic valve, renowned for reliability and precision. The system reduces the calcium and magnesium content in the water, preventing limescale deposits on taps, boilers, washing machines and other equipment. With an optimal flow rate of 1.8 m³/h, the softener is correctly sized for a consumption of 2–5 people, consistently delivering softened water without significant pressure loss.

After softening, the water is treated through a post-filtration stage with BIG BLUE 20" block activated carbon, made from coconut shell. This cartridge serves to reduce excess sodium resulting from regeneration cycles and to improve the taste, odour and clarity of the water, contributing to greater comfort in daily use.

For microbiological safety, the system is completed by a 35W UV sterilizer, with a flow rate of up to 2.2 m³/h, which eliminates bacteria, viruses, algae and fungi from the water. Through controlled exposure to UV radiation, the genetic structure of microorganisms is destroyed, ensuring microbiologically safe water throughout the entire home.

For drinking and cooking water, the solution includes a FILTRO INFINITY Lite DF600 direct flow reverse osmosis purifier. It delivers freshly purified water with a high flow rate (approx. 1.6–1.8 l/min), without a storage tank. The system is equipped with a booster pump, a 600 GPD membrane and cartridges with a TWIST system, allowing quick and clean replacement without complicated procedures.

This complete solution consists of the following equipment:

1. Automatic backwash system, FILTRO PROTECTOR 800, 40-micron stainless steel screen, backwash every 7, 15 or 30 days
   Protector800 is a pre-filter with a 40-micron stainless steel screen and automatic backwash. It retains sediments such as sand, rust, silt, etc., and at a set interval of 7, 15 or 30 days, it backwashes automatically. In practice, the screen is cleaned regularly without any intervention.
   
   
2. Transparent housing, BIG CLEAR 20", 1" brass connection, tightening wrench, pressure relief valve and metal bracket
   The BIG CLEAR 20" transparent housing with pressure relief valve includes a gasket, tightening wrench and metal bracket. It is made from high-quality polypropylene. It works very well with a polypropylene cartridge. The transparent housing allows the cartridge loading level to be clearly seen.
   
   
3. 5-micron polypropylene cartridge, Big Blue 20", sediment removal, dimensions 50 x 11.5 cm
   Cartridge for BIG BLUE 20" filter housings, made from polypropylene, size 50.8 x 11.5 cm, suitable for filtering sediments from water. Available sizes: 1, 5, 20 microns.

   The BIG BLUE 20" blue housing with pressure relief valve includes a gasket, tightening wrench and metal bracket. It is made from high-quality polypropylene. It is an optimal solution for filtering water throughout the entire home. It is easy to install and requires no maintenance. You simply need to replace the filter cartridge, depending on the cartridge type and the quality of the filtered water.
   
   
6. Block activated carbon cartridge for Big Blue 20", Ecosoft CTO, from coconut shell, 20"x4.5"
   Filtration media through a carbon block made from coconut shell activated carbon. This cartridge serves to reduce excess sodium after regeneration and to improve the taste and odour of the water.
   
   
7. UV sterilizer 35W, PureTECH UVC35A, flow rate 2.2 m3/h, 3/4" connection, complete package with power supply, lamp and housing
   The ultraviolet (UV) water sterilizer effectively eliminates algae, fungi and bacteria. The water is exposed to UV waves for a short period of time. The nucleic acid, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and ribonucleic acid (RNA) in microorganisms are absorbed by UV rays and destroyed by them, thus sterilizing the water.
   
   
8. Direct flow reverse osmosis, FILTRO INFINITY Lite DF600, high flow rate of 600GPD, tankless, booster pump, cartridges with twist system
   FILTRO INFINITY Lite DF600 is a compact reverse osmosis water purifier that delivers a direct flow of freshly filtered water of approx. 1.6-1.8 litres per minute, without requiring a storage tank. The purifier is equipped with a high-pressure pump, a 600GPD reverse osmosis membrane and a TWIST cartridge system for quick replacement without tools.
