How It Works

Water is exposed to UV waves for a short period of time. The nucleic acid, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and ribonucleic acid (RNA) in microorganisms are absorbed by the UV rays and destroyed, resulting in completely sterilized water. The 55W UV lamp ensures complete sterilization for a flow rate of up to 2.7 m3/h and is perfect for treating water throughout the entire home.

Use and Installation

The sterilizer is installed in a utility room, on the main water supply pipe, before household appliances and after the filtration system. The 1" connection allows easy integration into the water supply network.

Installation Steps

• Check that all components are present before beginning installation.
• Place the gasket on the quartz tube and insert it into the stainless steel sleeve.
• Connect the UV lamp to the power supply socket (ballast) and insert them into the quartz tube, tightening the sterilizer nut.
• Use 2 x 1" connectors on the water network – flexible fittings are recommended at both ends (inlet/outlet).
• Secure the sterilizer to the wall using the 2 clamps.
• After assembly, plug the power cord into the outlet.

Important Information

The sterilizer lamp must be replaced approximately every 12 months. Throughout its operating life, it must remain switched on at all times, as UV lamps are not designed to withstand repeated switching on and off. When the lamp burns out, the power supply will emit a sharp sound – this is the signal that the lamp needs to be replaced, just as it should be after 12 months from installation.
