Detailed description

The BIG BLUE 20" 2-stage filtration system consists of 2 filter housings supported by a sturdy white metal frame. It is equipped with inlet and outlet pressure gauges, brass threading, and is manufactured from certified NSF- and WRAS-compliant materials.

The BIG BLUE housings are compatible with a wide range of cartridge types available on the market. Our recommendation is to install a polypropylene cartridge in the first housing and an activated carbon cartridge (block or granular) in the last housing. These cartridges will remove sediments such as rust and sand from the water, while the activated carbon will filter out chlorine and its by-products, improving the taste and odour of the water.

The system is equipped with pressure valves and a rounded base that increases resistance to stress. As it is delivered pre-assembled and mounted in the frame, installation is of medium difficulty and takes approximately 30–60 minutes.
