Complete set of 6 cartridges for pre-filtration, membrane and post-filtration, compatible with most reverse osmosis systems. The pre-filtration cartridges measure 10" in length and 2.5" in diameter, while the post-filters are 10.8" long and 2" in diameter. The post-filters (balance and coconut) are equipped with quick connectors that directly accept 1/4" flexible tubing.

Filtering elements included in the set, their role and lifespan:

1. Dual polypropylene cartridge with a filtration rating of 20 microns on the outside and 5 microns on the inside, which retains sediment and other impurities such as sand, silt or rust - recommended replacement every 6 months.
2. Granular activated carbon cartridge that reduces chlorine and its by-products as well as organic matter. This cartridge improves the color, taste and odor of the water - recommended replacement every 6 months.
3. AquaGreen block activated carbon cartridge that filters chlorine and extends the lifespan of the reverse osmosis membrane. This cartridge protects the membrane and increases its efficiency - recommended replacement every 6 months.
4. 75 GPD reverse osmosis membrane whose role is to purify water and discharge impurities larger than 0.0001 microns to the drain - recommended replacement every 12 months.
5. Post-filter for alkalization and remineralization for pH increase between 7 and 9. It is also a mineralization filter containing a mix of rocks through which calcium, magnesium and potassium are added to the water. - recommended replacement every 6 months
6. Remineralization post-filter that adds a minimum of mineral salts necessary for the body to the purified water. The minerals added include calcium, magnesium, zinc and potassium. The remineralization material is natural and is produced from rocks (stones). - recommended replacement every 6 months.
   

Complete maintenance cycle:
1. Pre-filtration cartridges (no. 1, 2, 3) and post-filtration cartridges (no. 5, 6), included in the set: normally replaced once every 6 months*. (see intermediate set of 5 cartridges)
2. Reverse osmosis membrane (no. 4), included in the set: replaced on average once every 12 months* (see 50 GPD, 75 GPD or 100 GPD membrane)
* depending on the quality of the inlet water.

This set contains:
✔ the intermediate set of 5 cartridges for month 6.
✔ the RO membrane required for the month 12 maintenance.

The requirement for 1 full year (12 months) is 2 cartridge sets: 1 intermediate set (installed in month 6) and 1 complete set (installed in month 12). After that, the month counter is reset.

The lifespan of these cartridges varies depending on the quality of the inlet water; however, the replacement recommendation is specified for each individual element. This set of 6 cartridges represents the set of 5 cartridges replaced on average every 6 months, plus the reverse osmosis membrane replaced on average every 12 months. The set of 6 cartridges is delivered in a box of 6, or, depending on availability, as a set of 5 cartridges + membrane, or as individual elements. All cartridges are individually sealed and it is necessary to check the seal immediately upon receipt.
